This is something used for TV broadcasting, like the nightly news. For the price of one of those used you could buy a used Panasonic DVX100 and get a real film look. The NTSC DVX100 has 24P and 24PA filming modes which is like using an actual film camera in terms of operation and final look of the product. However, if you are in the PAL region, just by a DVX100 PAL which has 25fps standard progressive mode. If you get that BETACAM you are going to end up with a REAL video look.
