Are you talking about the "island" they leave from at the end of the movie, before the credits as opposed to the island shown at the very end of the credits (where the zombies come out of the brush)?
The spot they left from when they first boarded the boat was supposed to be some spot on Lake Michigan... (was actually the marina in Toronto on the east side of town in the area called "The Beaches".
The scenes shown during the credits were primarily shot between L.A. and Catalina island.....
The final credits scene was shot after the fact... the movie was essentially done before that was shot, sort of an add on for the fun of it...
A sequel could certainly be made that included Ving, Sarah, Kevin and Lindy... the rest we're pretty sure are dead...although we don't know for certain that Jake and Michael couldn't show up.... we didn't actually see them die, did we... (seems unlikely, but heck, this is hollywood (or toronto), isn't it?) :) |
