Message Details Author Message BluBall Fresh meat Joined: 31-Dec-1969 Posts: Subject: upon reflection I liked his "character arc" Date: Tue 13-Sep-2005, 00:47:03 I really hadn't cared much about the remake until I viewed the unrated director's cut some weeks ago, and now enjoy it more and pick up on the characters. Still no fan of runners, but I appreciated that CJ was initially a seemingly one-demensional asswipe who did adapt and was not a stereotyped100% macho dick (a role we see some play in real and reel life, no?) for the whole movie. The actor got to actually do more than shoot of his mouth and his 12-guage.
