you can hear the same canned scripted interview george has given before about land of the dead on ign's podcasts. i would have liked it more if the dude interviewing was actually asking questions instead of the ones on the press release or at least sounded interested doing the interview. I personally like it at the end when they didn't edit out the publicist cutting off the interview. so i'm sure he could cut off any spontanous free thought...you know like actual questions... anyway.
i've seen the movie a few times now to be fair. I'm pretty dead set on not liking it at all. i really looked forward to this flick but for whatever reason its just not enjoyable for me. i've even shown it to a few different people, and they didn't like it much either. and of course all of my movie dork friends. there are minor here and there things we thought that were cool but overall just kind of waiting for compelling characters we saw in night dawn & yes even day. and we thought that if tom savini was doing effects/gags with greg that would have been 100% insane and crazy too and would have cut down gregs rediculous work load. I'm actually surprised to see this forum up seeing how everyone is still debating the same silly things they were when i last came. *shakes head*
i love george's movies, if he makes another one, hell even another dead movie i'll still give it a chance. anyway, i hope all have had a good holiday season, and i wish you all a great new year. |
