In fact, the first 10 minutes were pretty good. What, exactly, did you not like?
Also, Day rocks. I didn't really enjoy it on the first viewing, but now it is one of my favorites after watching it a few times. I think if you watch them in order, you can see the progression of plot, zombie, etc.
