CHAPTER 1 - DAY ONE

Day: June 15. Weather: 70* windy. Year: 2001. At the local news station news announcer Rob was doing his job.

" Today during this hot windy afternoon a tanker truck carrying plutonium for the Nuclear power plant crashed with a Coke Cola truck. The tanker tipped over partly crushing the truck but not the driver. He escaped just in time. When the truck did hit the ground the tank tore open releasing plutonium every where on to the streets. Some spectators were hit by plutonium and died right after. They do have people cleaning up the plutonium. Now for the weath… oh my what is that!? "

The newscaster got up from his seat. Then a person or a creature attacked the newscaster!

"Oh my." Max said. Max got up from his favorite chair that he bought five years ago when he was in his twenties. Forgetting to turn off the 1990's television he ran to his front door and out to his neighbor Tom. His neighbor has been living next to Max when he moved in.

When he got there he told him the news and said they should get out of town. Tom said he would be out front in five minutes. Max then went over to his other neighbor's house and told him the same thing.

They all met each other in five minutes. When they reached each other Tim said.

" We can take my van."

They all walked toward the van with there stuff. Tom says

" I get shotgun."

Max pulls a shotgun out of his bag and says

"No I do."

Max sat in the front passenger seat, Tim sat in the driver's seat, and Tom sat in the back middle passenger seat. Tim asked

" Were are we going to go?" Max replies.

" The army and navy store, they might have some gas masks."

Tim starts up the car and pulls out and drives toward the store. When they got there it was a total war zone. There were fires everywhere. And there were these people that were mutated.

" Hey, see those people" Max pointed toward the slow moving figures. " They look like the ones I saw on TV"

They all ran toward the army and navy store. As soon as they got to the door one of the creatures came flying out. Then someone ran out kneeled at the creature's head and beaded his head five times with a crowbar. The stranger said.

" They're called zombies. Run get out of here." He gets up and runs.

Tim then said

" We know how to kill'em." Max interrupts.

" Right in the head."

When they walk in they see four gas masks left. They run towards them and grab them. They put on the gas mask and leave the store. They get in the van and drive off. Tim asked

"Were now?" Max replies.

" The armory maybe we will be able to get some weapons."

Tim turns around and heads toward the armory, which is located down town. When they get there Tim saw three zombies walking toward them. Tim drove toward them and hit all of them. When he did the bodies went flying in the air and land with broken legs.

When they get out they see the zombies trying to crawl towards them but they couldn't. The party walked toward the army door and tried to open it but they couldn't! Tim said.

" It must be security locked."

When he saw the keypad he grabbed Max's shotgun and hit the keypad with the butt of the stock. The keypad sparked a little bit and the door then opened. When they got in there, there were five zombies walking towards them. Max took the shotgun from Tim and shot two zombies. They walked forward. Max and Tom checked on room and Tom checked the other. When Max came to the three zombies he took the butt of the stock and hit the zombie on the head four times while blood splattered on the fourth.

They came to the armory room. It was scattered with guns. From 22 pistols to lawyer bazooka's. Some of the guns were gone but most of them were there. Max through down his shotgun and grabbed a flame-thrower, a m60, and two extra bullet chains. Tim got two m16s and a bandoleer full of m16 clips. Tom got 2 Uzi's, some clips and some hand grenades.

When they all get their weapons they exit the room and see the last two zombies getting closer. Tom took one of his Uzi's and shots the two zombies down. They then run down the hall towards the main entrance. When they get closer there's a banging at the door. Tom goes to a side room and looks out the window. When he came back he says.

" There's about ten to fifteen zombies out there! " Max replies.

" We can take the back door. "
