Message Details Author Message EDukes Fresh meat Joined: 31-Dec-1969 Posts: Subject: Hauntcon update of first convention experience Date: Fri 22-Apr-2005, 01:02:18 I arrived earlier then I was suppose to, so I had to shell out money for the room that I wanted to save for the convention. I thought the Hotel would be within walking distance from the convention. Turns out it's not. Hotel also seems to be located in the Twilight Zone, because I can never find my way back no matter how good I backtrack myself. I keep getting hit on by 40+ guys in Dallas (I guess the Police hat acts as a fetish for some). Buses here are really screwed up. AND IT'S ALL WORTH IT. HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE. AFTER MY DEPLOYMENT THE FIRST THING I'M DOING IS LOOKING UP ANOTHER HORROR CONVENTION.
