..it goes with todays more hardend audiences. When you watch Frankenstein, a classic, do you think: "wow, that lumbering around is scary"? no...but boy was that scary back then. Running is just a way of upping the ante. This board used to be filled with folks saying:"dude, if the dead came back to life, it would fun! I would walk around cappin' fools"
Ha! That sense of comfort is gone when these bastards run. Not so fun now, is it? Now you have to fight for every step. Its scarier. No, it doesn't give you time to ponder what and why whatever else. Its about survival. You gotta move or you die. I'm totally a fan of runners now. Shamblers are just not that scary anymore. |
