I liked it but I don't agree it may have been a reinvisioning but not a remake. That would be like calling "Planet of the Apes" a remake. That just insulted the original "Planet of the Apes." And what you didn't like the First "Return of the Living Dead?" Other than that I think I am in your shoes. I like a lot of movies that others usually don't like.
