But for me the runners could be, anything. I have so ingrained myself into the concept of the dead as shambling, moaning corpses that when I saw the runners it made me think, 28 Days Later.
Even though I am no convert to the running track-star dead (I prefer the slow guys and GAR)I do see runners' inherent menace, and the impact they have on audiences NOT weaned on the old school dead. One of GAR's would not be such a hassle; one from Snyder's would be a real force to be reckoned with. |
