It's HIS genre. He owns it. He created the point. How could he miss the point?
We have always been meant to have sympathy for the zombies...
Look at the nun and baseball zombies in Dawn. They were sympathetic. Look at Bub in Day. He was sympathetic. Look at Night '90, in the closing sequence when the bikers are having their fun with the zombies, we're meant to have sympathy for them.
They're us and we're them. |
