Even with strong DVD sales, I'd be surprised if Universal would be willing to fund another Romero zombie movie. While it eventually did make money, Land of the Dead wasn't nearly as profitable as similar movies in the genre (like Dawn 04).
Know Romero would like to make two more zombie movies to complete his second triology.

IMHO, unless Asia Argento can get European funding for a Land of the Dead Sequel, think it's unlikely to happen.
There is a better chance of a video game sequel. That's what John Carpenter ended up doing with 'The Thing'. |
