Are you guys crazy? I have been (OK, here we go with the I have loved Romero's work since i was nine crap) but still, I have adored every film. And this one is still so Romero! You have your typical anti-heroes and villians as in every Dead film and some kind of plot twist that causes the dead to raid into the living. You notice in all 4 films the dead make their way in cause of some pigheaded asshole, suicidal nutjob or psycho bikers? (In this case, stealing the only worthy weapon when they could have cut them to shreds the first scene.) And even with bigger stars in this one, the formula remains the same. And don't ever tell me that citizens being ripped to shreds and eaten alive and screaming as they die in a lot (including women and children) isn't kinda messed up. Good film. |
