I was watching the commentary and they said the scene was too Pulp Fiction and they wanted to hurry and get the people in the mall. The movie was only a hour and 1/2. If people can willing sit through Loard of the Rings, I think they can handle an extra minute to explain how you go from having a truck full of people while zombies are all over the place, to seeing everyone safe and sound inside the mall. Imagine if in Superman all they showed was Superman in the pool with the kryptonite one minute, and then chasing the rocket the next second.
Another thing that annoys me that has nothing to do with zombies is Superman 2. Superman's real mom said that if he went in the tube thing, he'd forever be human. Yet when he realizes General Zod is on Earth he hurries back to the Fortress of Solitude and becomes Superman again. |
