Message Details Author Message SeanArcher Fresh meat Joined: 31-Dec-1969 Posts: Subject: Bit of news on remake Date: Thu 14-Apr-2005, 13:09:30 This isn't really new news, since James Gunn announced it on his website (jamesgunn.com) last August, but for those of you who haven't heard... He said Zack Snyder, Eric Newman and himself had some meeting about a possible sequel. James isn't interested in writing anymore sequels... meaning no Scooby Doo 3 either :(... and he's in Vancouver directing his movie Slither now anyway, so he isn't going to be involved at all. He said Universal wants a sequel though. He also said the sequel wouldn't be a Day of the Dead remake and that he'd be "bummed" if it were called "Dawn of the Dead 2". Also, Zack Snyder is involved directing some other movie, so he probably won't be involved either. That's about all the real news there is regarding the sequel.
