The longer exchange between Michael and Andre when the survivors arrive at the mall in the truck, I used the Alternate "Andre checking the doors" scene, and I added them piling the office furniture up by the doors scene.
The other stuff IMHO isn't worth using.
I had to delete certain scenes I didn't care for, like Glen telling Cj & Bart he was Gay. I mean I don't mind he is Gay but it served no purpose to the film other than un-needed humor.
I deleted CJ spouting off the top 3 things to keep a relationship strong, and fixed the scene where he used one of the top 3 of the article in an exchange with Michael before going to find the generator in the parking garage.
I cut out all the opening credits footage. It didn't really show anything you could focus on and in my opinion the Johnny Cash Song didn't help the pace of the montage footage. Plus the news reports later in the film can show how widespread the epidemic was.
I cut out the Camcorder footage at the end of the film.
Why would I do that, you ask? Simply because it served no viable purpose and really didn't change the ending in the least little bit. I felt the ending with them sailing off the boat gave us the same feeling as the camcorder island ending, and I felt the regualr ending was suffice.
I replaced the Closing credits with a Different font, and Put the Johnny Cash song at the end.
That is the changes... and it is for the better IMHO |
