It was about this time last year we got our first teaser trailer and a lot of hype ensued till march 19th. Now looking back, i remember being not thrilled and then excited about it, regardless of my partiality to the original and acceptance of this movie into my dvd library. Now its like, what else is there to do with the movie. I don't think it has the staying power of Savini's NOTLD '90, maybe because of the involvement of Romero etc. But it's still interesting to hear people say they've seen the remake and not the original and not liking the remake, my response, see the original, you'll appreciate the original and its simplisty more then anything.
