Myself, I thought that Day of the Dead was not very good, the FIRST time I watched it. The second viewing convinced me different. I think, I am like some other fans have mentioned, Romero films tend to grow on you. How many times have you seen Day? I agree, that Dawn and Night are my personal favorites, but each film, in my opinion, holds it's own, including Day and Land. All four films have found their way into my VHS player first and now my DVD player, on a pretty regular basis.
