Dude, that's the whole point. It wasn't until three weeks into it that people started to acknowledge what was going on (see: Dawn). People still insisted on having baseball games and weddings until it was too late. i used to wonder about that as well, but we just saw it happen with Katrina and Wilma. Everyone is their own first priority, and that in fact dooms us all. |
