What exactly do you plan on doing regarding the film? Directing? Producing? I'm a director/producer/screenwriter with a feature presently in production. I don't ever plan on going to Texas unless my band's touring there, but I'm willing to collaborate on a screenplay. Also, pick up "Make Your Own Damn Movie" by Lloyd Kaufman from Troma Films. It's got lotsa valuable info. I purchased it awhile ago from www.bookfinder.com I knew much of the info but there was plenty for me to learn and I'm certain it will be quite helpful to you.
