I have had some time to think about the idea of a fifth GAR "dead" film. I believe that GAR has done about everything he possibly could with the "dead" series, we saw in Day how the zombies could change (via Bub) and I'm thinking that because GAR didn't have the budget to do his intended version of Day, maybe Land was his rewritten original version of Day - Kaufman in command of Fidlers Green where Gasparilla is in charge of the complex in the original day script and if you read closely there are similarities between the two.

Land stated how, in time things evolve - what started as an outbreak has now become an evolution, despite the fact that Land featured only a select group of zombies which had undergone evolution (well following influenced behaviour via "Big Daddy") what made them so different?

I believe a fifth film would most likely be the closing of the dead series, there is plenty of potential within the series but truthfully what is there to be done which hasn't been covered in the films? Maybe all of the survivors of the series meet up? Who knows?
