One cannot watch Dawn04 and enjoy it if one views it as a remake. It is a stand alone movie that just happens to involve zombies (a different type than Romero's) and the same name as one of Romero's films. After that all the comparisons end. I liked it but using Dawn as the name was just to capitalize on Romero's cult following. |
