i think anybody can view it any way they want to. as a remake or not.
DOTD1978- a small group of survivors hold out in a mall in an attempt to escape the threat of the living dead.
DOTD2004- a small group of survivors hold out in a mall in an attempt to escape the threat of the living dead.
just showing how anybody can view this as a remake. we all know that a very very large reason for calling it dotd was to capatalise on the romero movie. but it doesnt mean that its not a remake. and no matter weather you think its a remake or not the only thing that matters is if you like it or not. i liked the movie, then again also liked return of the living dead 2 and 3. i also tend to like movies that not everybody else likes. but that only proves my point. its not how the movie is supposed to be viewed but rather what the personal tastes of the person viewing the movie are. |
