Mwahaha....give yourself to the dark side, young apprentice. Seriously though, it does have a badass plot....you just have to watch the movie and actually examine it.
As far as your mother's quote: "the only zombie film that ever had a plot." I can see where she's coming from and she's absolutely right. Maybe she didn't pick up on the commentaries in the first 3 as well but Land has it straight up, in your face....so, she got it and was able to translate it and enjoy it for other reasons than "BLOOD, GUTS, and things that run 70 mph, thats all I wanna see"(which sadly, is the way some people watch zombie films).
But hey, good to see the people that are close to you enjoyed it. And it's good to see you're starting to come around....I knew most people would, with time. |
