It's like any other hollywood flick of an emerging genre, it fades within a month or two. Resurges with the DVD, then refades. The zombie genre really hasn't risen. We've seen what, 28 Days Later, DAWN 04, and now LAND. Then Universal picking up SHAUN for US distribution. It isn't much, and the rising of the genre is a bit overrated. Now it's argueable that the indie market has had a rising in the genre.
