thats the only terrorism reference i noticed in the film. to me the more interesting parts of the movie were and would have been the different levels of post dead rising society and how they do their best to live " normal" lives while the dead control and walk most of the earth. but that got basically passed over and never got fully realized in the film. granted i know theres only so much time you can put into a film but they missed a golden opportunity to do a really great film. even if the only real gore would have been the initial raiding scene and the end fight where the dead enter the last known city it would have been more interesting to see and learn more about the city. there was a noticable difference in the different military groups that either raided cities, guarded borders, protected fiddlers green , or worked in it how does one move up thos ranks. and why was it kauffman really didnt want cholo in fiddlers green was it race or him wanting the best peopel out there getting him creature comforts or was he afraid cholo in the green would cause him to lose his grip on it ( the whole alpha dog syndrome since cholo was proven tough and kauffman wasnt). i also was left wondering more about the people who ran the green and the conflict between ruling members and kauffman. that element rang with a tad of the original day script and i wonder if romero didnt borrow from that a bit but all in all alot of the more interesting things got glossed over due to time constraints and im sure hollywood influence and pressures.

and yeah the girl who got tossed in the zombie pit what was it she was doing that got her sent there and even more than that what was it that irish guy was all about and doing and what kept him from getting killed and sent out with more of the "garbage" ?

after watching it i had more questions than answers but its an ok film anyway.
