I have to admit it was quite weird, but also really exciting, to get to see my first GAR film in the cinema. And not only that, it was a GAR zombie film. Hell, the only zombie film I'd seen before in the cinema was Shaun of the Dead!

I had an absolute blast seeing it in the cinema when it came out here in the UK on September 23rd and now having it on DVD just makes me love it even more. Probably my most significant purchase of the year.

So watching it on DVD on your own or with up to a few people is a very personal and intimate experience, so viewing a GAR film in public with a bunch of random people - some of whom have no clue what they're watching or why they're watching it (a group of 3 people in front of me got up and walked out quickly as soon as the intestines started getting ripped out).
